Flipping Out

pancake 8Did your alarm go off at 3:30a.m. this morning? Well, if you are an 8th grader, teacher or parent you have already put in a full day of work and should be sleeping in a cozy bed somewhere. These folks have been hard at work since the middle of the night, (anything before 5am is the middle of the night in my book) getting the annual Pancake Breakfast ready for the whole community to enjoy. Students, faculty and parents from both campus came to the lower school to eat their weight in pancakes, doughnuts and the always popular hashbrown casserole. ¬† It’s a wonderful tiger tradition where¬† eighth grade students work together with their parents and teachers to produce a tasty event that raises funds for their class gift.
