First grade students recently collected pet care products and toys as part of their Service Learning project. With the products and toys they collected, they put together care packages for families that adopt dogs and cats from Love at First Sight, a puppy and kitten adoption center. Love at First Sight works hard at educating adoptive families on proper pet care and prevention of pet overpopulation. After the care packages were assimilated, the first grade students took a field trip to Love at First Sight were they were taught similar lessons by the staff. Here are some pictures from their day!

Yet another thing I would like to convey is that instead of trying to fit all your online degree programs on days that you finish off work (since most people are tired when they get back), try to receive most of your instructional classes on the week-ends and only a couple of courses on weekdays, even if it means taking some time away from your weekend.
