Mrs. Voigt’s 3rd grade class presented their rendition of The Runaway Pancake adapted from the story by John Lithgow. It seemed like a good idea for the Pancake to escape from Auntie May’s kitchen oven, it really did! The pancake was so fast that it rolled away from all sorts of hungry friends looking for lunch including a dog, a cow, a donkey, a bear, and a wolf. What happened when the quick Pancake ran into the sly fox? Well, let’s just say…someone had lunch! Great job 3rd graders!
