After having to reschedule a couple times, the weather finally cooperated and the Red Gables students were able to compete in a fun and exciting Field Day! Lower School students participated in fun events like Shoe Scramble, Cross Country Run and Tug-o-War while MS students competed in Track and Field competitions, Tire Pull, basketball relay and much more. The final competition of the day…TUG-O-WAR!! The overall winners of field day 2011… TEAM ORANGE!
Before we get to the pictures from today, it is definitely worth mentioning that the oldest remaining Field Day record was broken today in the high jump. Seventh grader Charlie Clifton’s 5’4 1/4 high jump not only scored major points for team orange, but broke the school’s record.
