First, Mrs. Terwilliger’s 8th grade English class have been reading Gentlehands. “It is this seemingly fluffy love story and then there is this great sub plot where we discover the grandfather was an infamous Nazi, and the boy has this moral dilemma,” said Mrs. T.
On the other side of campus in the lower school library, the 6th graders were dressed as their favorite character from their free reading period. Each student told about the elements of their story from the perspective of their character.
It’s a great day to get cozy on the couch and enjoy that book you have been meaning to pick-up before the beautiful spring weather forces us all outdoors!
