The second graders had a very special day today that has become an Ensworth tradition for the past 17 years, the annual author’s reception. Students start the writing process by choosing a special place and then create their story around that place. They go through the whole writing process complete with rough draft and peer feedback. After a month of hard work students have a beautiful bound book with their own hand down illustrations. What a special way to end the school year, great job second graders.
