Take pride in your city!

Last Wednesday, third grade students were able to learn about Nashville’s present, past, and future while visiting downtown. The morning was spent on a walking tour, where a storyteller guided the students from landmark to landmark, telling tales about Andrew Jackson, Sam Davis, Alvin C. York, and many more. Then in the afternoon the students got to meet with the staff from The Nashville Convention and Visitor’s Bureau to learn about some of Nashville’s important landmarks and enjoy private access to the Bridgestone Arena. All in all it was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the great city we call home.

Thanks Mr. Sherland for sharing this great information!
