Going Global

Three Service Learning trips are heading out starting TODAY! Ensworth partners with World Leadership School (WOS) in providing students and teachers the opportunity to continue their service and leadership training outside Nashville.

We can’t forget that one successful trip has already been made! A group of Ensworth Middle School students headed to Belize to work with WOS in their partnership with St. Matthew’s Government School. The students painted, built a playground, and hung out with the local kids and teachers on breaks!

Today, the group from EHS heads to Kenya! This group will settle in the Masai region of Kenya and work with WOS in education‐related construction projects such as the building of a classroom or a playground. They will also spend time teaching English, coaching sports and doing other activities with local children.

A similar trip is also planned for Peru.

In addition, a Professional Development Trip to Costa Rica has been planned for teachers and they leave on July 12th.
