How many of you are braving the rain tomorrow to run the Music City Marathon? Sorry runners, but it looks like it might be the second year in a row for a soggy run. The good news is that our eighth graders and their pre-first buddies had perfect weather today for their 1st Annual St. Jude Mini Marathon. The pre-first and eighth graders met together recently to learn more about the work that St. Jude does for the community in preparation for the mini-race. Pre-first students are currently collecting toys and other items to give to the children at St. Jude. Check out some pictures from the race and other happenings this week. The second grade class got a visit from the Vanderbilt Children’s hospital neonatal ambulance this week. Students knit hats and collect toiletries for the hospital as part of their service learning project.
